well i dont really think hes right, because im a monk, and I dropped hex removal from my set, quite a long time ago ...
and by the way there are not many mesmers goin on warrior only so ... anyways hexes get removed after a few time, i personally think hex removal is a waste of space and energy, so eowen is not right in every case. You get what I mean? Hes stating it as his posts would be the case for every fight with a monk in a team. And in fact its not.

No, I don't get what you mean because it's hard enough trying to decipher what the hell you're saying in the first place. The post you quoted me on before was me pointing out a situation that would *never* happen, so how the hell are you getting the implication that I meant the situation would "be the case for every fight." Reading comprehension at its finest.

It would be a very good idea to stop the flame war now. My mod shotgun is loaded.
Be constructive, it doesn't hurt.
@Dont Look At My: Eonwe is blunt but right. If you disagree with him, make us understand why. Give examples, and facts. And be ready to see your arguments countered. If the only thing you can do if criticize Eonwe's style, then ignore him and don't reply. Otherwise I'll be forced to clean up your flame wars, and you'll be considered a troll.
@Eonwe: Your first post was good even if slightly blunt. However the flame fest which followed was unneeded. Especially considering the fact that DLAM proved to be... far less experienced than you. Moreover, telling someone he's bad won't help him improve much, and it doesn't bring anything constructive to the table. It's the best way to sound condescending and arrogant, even if you are right. Either ignore his comments (report them to the mods if necessary), or add a couple of examples to explain why it's a very bad idea to ignore hex removal altogether.

Thats the quote, and I wanted to say that the situation is likely to occur, if you just look at things the other way.
Hexes cant kill anyone of the team except the monk. (or if an ele doesnt notice backfire and keeps spamming his spells, but lets not get that case into this)
And the monk jobs is it to keep the team alive. So the best for monk is to use Hex Breaker, as I do, I got rid of Hex Removal. To the simple reason that if you have to remove the hexes like backfire, you still get hurt by them, as Hex Breaker just doesnt let em to get true.
The one thing I wanted to say about Eonwe's post, is that this situation is contrary to what he said, likely to occur, because im not the only monk replacin hex removal by hex breaker.
@FrogDevourer
could you please tell me how I proved to be ... far less experienced than Eonwe?¨
The only thing I want to do is help ppl and tell them why its better to switch from one spell to another.

I am hereby closing this thread as it is broken beyond repair.
Sorry Yukito, this could have been a good thread.

I'm not sure I even want to try and explain why this statement is false and ignorant. Not only do you seem to ignore there are many hexes able to kill you, but you also fail to understand the purpose of most hexes is not to kill to but to shut you down. Removing a player from the game for a few seconds is enough to win the game. Period. If you don't understand why, you should read more and post less, and most importantly you should play against decent players, and not just the inexperienced w/mo we all chew on breakfast.

You're now making a fool of yourself. You joined these boards three days ago. Your contribution so far is junk spam: ignorant statements, banalities, and bland opinions we don't care about. And you asked questions showing you don't know your basics. I'm sorry to be so negative but with more than 14 posts a day, you haven't brought anything useful to these boards.
And now you're trying to provoke Eonwe who's shown to be blunt but knowledgeable and helpful for months, and who proved to be an excellent player in all types of PvP, not just your favourite random arena. Bring something serious to the table, and we will talk. Until then, please stop considering yourself a good player, and try to be slightly more humble. If you can't, then - at the very least - try to bring facts and arguments instead of banalities and opinions with no backup.
And please... please... stop using the stupidest argument ever: "I want to keep my secret build for myself to be unique". If you think this build is so good, share it. Otherwise, don't post or be ready to be laughed at.
